Update Post (Important!)

Today was a pretty gnarly day to say the least. It started off with the typical jailhouse school day, however, we didn't get called into our dean's office, regarding the incident from Friday. Mason and I made plans earlier in the week to have a sesh with my homie Matt Barber. Matt is basically just an awesome guy. I've known him forever and his skating is ridiculous. We had a really fun and lighthearted session, first at a five stair spot and then at a ledge/ dirt gap. We all had a great time, and I'm really proud of Mason especially after today. He's come a long way since I met him and I know he's gonna do some rad things in skating and Daymoon alike. After today's sesh, Mason and I came to the consensus that Matt will become the first member to the Daymoon team. We filmed a sick line clip today and in a few weeks (maybe less; hopefully less) we should have a short little intro part for him, which I will post on this site. So check in regularly for that, it's going to be amazing. Construction on the Daymoon full-length is still in pre-production, however we will be starting shortly and the filming should go along great. Sorry this is just an update post, but I felt like telling you guys and you can't stop me! Spread the word about us to your friends who skate and put your email in at the top of the page to receive updates on the video, products, or the team. Once we begin making shirts and other accessories in bulk, prices will be listed on the site. Mason will probably be posting some pictures tonight if he isn't too lazy. Keep checking in! Thanks and stay retarded. -Jonah

Had a run in with the fuzz today, skating one of our favorite spots. We luckily avoided an evening in juvenile hall, but we're probably still going to get suspended. Which leads me to a question. Why? Why have we as skateboarders been chosen to be looked down on and mistreated? For doing what we love? I pose to you a challenge. When those people look down on you, stare them straight in the eye. We will never be beaten, no matter how hard these uniformed men or pissy business owners try. Don't fall to your knees, stand up. Even better, push that piece of wood that we've all fallen so madly in love with right past those jerks with a freaking smile on your face. Skateboarding will remain through thick and thin, as long as the right people are doing it. These people are the sweaty, bloody, sore, dirty, skate rats that run the streets and shred the cities. Daymoon is this breed. We are the real lovers of the board. Swaggots, I hope you slip off that gangster board you have and tear up your Diamond shirt. Try not to cry too hard when it happens. Stay retarded friends, and stay dirty, bloody, strong street-lovers. -Jonah

Welcome to Daymoon!

Well, here we are. Daymoon has begun. This project has turned into so much more than just a project. My name is Jonah. My friend Mason and I share an unbelievable passion for skateboarding and an equally strong one for art. At Daymoon, you will find pure and raw skateboarding, uncensored and uncut. We currently are accepting sponsorships, though in very limited number. Also, a full length video has just begun. So keep an eye out. This is our life and we want people to know it. Now buy a shirt or some wax and rep REAL skateboarding, not this new era of "swag" and crap. Get on board or drown. Stay retarded friends.
