Sorry it's been a while guys. Mason moved to the downtown area of Bakersfield so we've been hurting for chances to skate. Yesterday we went to a fun local spot and filmed two quick clips of Mason on my iPod (my new video camera is coming either tomorrow or Monday, don't worry). We've still been filming for the full-length. It's going nicely. Right now a possible name for it is Lords Of Smogtown. We'll see though! Wax is still up for sale, we've only gotten a few orders so there's still a good amount of bars left. Anyways, hang in there, trust me, there's some really good stuff in store for the near future of Daymoon. Spread the word and stay retarded everyone!!!

This second one was a cool line he did first try. It
showcases his old-school, but original style and I really
like it. Multiply that by ten and that's his part. It's
going to be really rad and it'll add some flair to the
Man. Yesterday was just the best. My favorite things combined: no school, skateboarding, friends, and Daymoon. We got some rad stuff as well. North Hollywood skate plaza is unbelievable by the way guys. You definitely need to hit it up whenever you have the chance. I finally got my old school board on Sunday, which is what I'm skating in these pictures. It's a lot different but I adjusted quickly and it's probably the most fun way to skate that I've ever experienced. Unfortunately, Matt was out of town so he could not make it and we didn't have access to his camera. So no clips. But it's alright because I'll have my camera soon and filming for the full-length will drastically increase, as well as quite a few promos. I should have it hopefully by this weekend with my upcoming birthday money. Also, I have made the first batch of Daymoon wax. It's really good, we have tested and skated it ourselves. Tomorrow we should have some pictures of it here, and orders will be accepted through EMAIL ONLY. Unless I know you, then just text me. Price is 4 dollars a bar. yesterday was an unbelievably rad day. we skated at north hollywood skate plaza. got pizza. it was an unforgettable day for an awesome dude named jonaaaaaaah. it was way too killer. didn't get many pictures because we were too busy skating all at once
So yesterday ended up being really rad, even though we didn't shoot a lot of tricks. Well, Ross finally decided to do something worthwhile. So welcome to the team Ross! There's another part for the full-length and it's shaping up to be a really sick movie! Mason and I have also decided to take Daymoon in a new and original direction. We're gonna bring back the old school. Of course mixing in modern street tricks as well. That's what skateboarding was, and it's changed now into a fat load of crap. So we're bringing back the real era of skating. The one with sick graphics and using your hands for tricks too. Because a skateboard is an extension of our body. It opens up possibilities for our bodies that would never be possible. So let's use our whole bodies. And let's just have some freaking fun! We're brimming on hitting 1,000 page views. Hey everyone, I know it's been a while but we haven't had much time to sesh so what is there to write about? Yesterday I had a quick session with Matt and ended up getting a chill little line for my part. Also, we have a few upcoming events where we'll have some pictures and gain more film for the full-length. PS, we still haven't decided on a name so if you have an idea that doesn't suck comment it on this post! If we use it, we'll give you a free shirt of your choice. So anyways, Friday I will hopefully be skating with Mason and a few of our friends, including Ross, who can't seem to find any thing cool enough to get on the team. We're gonna skate downtown so those are the good spots. We may or may not get some VX footage; we'll see. If we don't, we'll have pictures. Saturday is official Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, which I think is a really stupid idea. But we can't really do much about that. So if you skate, be careful, the last thing you need is a sesh ruined by the blue. Anyways, we appreciate the support (we hit 900 views today) and just ask that you keep spreading the word and checking in. Alright everyone here it is. I know it's short. But we filmed it within a few sessions and it's pretty rad. It'll also give you an insight into Daymoon that much farther. Such a sick day. A few things happened. Jacob came down again and was busting it up with his way-too-stylish heelflips. I got a busted leg. But I landed one of the sickest tricks I've ever done down that gap that I tre'd below. Stay tuned for the full-length to see what it is! A few updates. First off, I'll be getting a new video camera with a new fisheye and stabilizer which we will proceed to film the full-length with. We've also decided to have me film, produce, and edit it. This will be my first full-length production and I'm really stoked. Second, WE HIT 500 VIEWS!!!!!!!! Thanks so much for the support everyone, it means more than you can ever understand. We're this group of passionate skaters, and we're doing it. And you're helping us immensely. Don't be shy to email us with anything at all that you need to say. today was too rad. windy. risks of falling off roofs. jonah. jacob. me. and some friends. sam, ross, and zack all came out and seshed with us. just skating some rosedale spot and having fun with no sun. happy cinco de mayo
First Friday is one of the gnarliest skate days imaginable. We get to go downtown (the only really good place to skate in Bakersfield) and just shred with Daymoon crew till about 10:30. This was our first photo session with Matt and it turned out really well. We filmed a few really nice clips for the full-length video, so stay excited. Tomorrow we'll be filming some more. Today was simply a definition of skateboarding, and Daymoon especially. So enjoy these photos and get hyped! We aren't disappearing, we're here to stay.
