Had a run in with the fuzz today, skating one of our favorite spots. We luckily avoided an evening in juvenile hall, but we're probably still going to get suspended. Which leads me to a question. Why? Why have we as skateboarders been chosen to be looked down on and mistreated? For doing what we love? I pose to you a challenge. When those people look down on you, stare them straight in the eye. We will never be beaten, no matter how hard these uniformed men or pissy business owners try. Don't fall to your knees, stand up. Even better, push that piece of wood that we've all fallen so madly in love with right past those jerks with a freaking smile on your face. Skateboarding will remain through thick and thin, as long as the right people are doing it. These people are the sweaty, bloody, sore, dirty, skate rats that run the streets and shred the cities. Daymoon is this breed. We are the real lovers of the board. Swaggots, I hope you slip off that gangster board you have and tear up your Diamond shirt. Try not to cry too hard when it happens. Stay retarded friends, and stay dirty, bloody, strong street-lovers. -Jonah
